Previously, Eric was a litigator with Arnold & Porter in Washington DC for six years, where he participated in complex civil litigation against the tobacco industry.
Eric is an experienced litigator who has represented Fortune 10 corporations before state and federal courts in complex class action and government-initiated litigation along with advising Fortune 10 corporations on domestic and international regulatory matters.
As a litigator his experience includes appellate arguments, drafting of briefs concerning all aspects of litigation including appeals, drafting and responding to written discovery, handling electronic discovery issues, taking and defending depositions, developing witnesses, drafting jury instructions, developing strategies and drafting memoranda concerning complex litigation circumstances.
Previous experience as in-house counsel at a Fortune 10 corporation, affords Eric the ability to see issues from the client's perspective. He understands that your reputation is at risk and has a clear understanding of your needs. He is able to provide a big picture view on multiple matters and weigh the outcomes in each matter dependent upon the effects associated with each.
